Homeschool students and their families are invited to the zoo for a day of science learning! Participate in engaging, hands-on programming that supports Next Generation Science Standards and self-guided exploration of zoo grounds. Come explore the zoo and build on your students’ natural curiosity about animals!
The learning activities will be organized around one theme for the school year. We encourage you to register for one date, though you are welcome to attend more than once. Additional information about program themes will be available here in late August.
All activities are included with zoo admission.
The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m and you are welcome to remain on grounds for as much of the day as you like. We will meet at the South Gate at 9;30 am to enter as a group.
Please note when planning your day that activities offered for Homeschool Day will primarily occur in the morning and early afternoon.
